These extra-long breakaway zip ties are designed to create a security barrier.  For example, to secure a gate that is not being used, but when force is applied, zip tie can break to allow the gate to be opened in an emergency. 

These breakaway zip ties are also ideal for labeling components or other items. Secure the zip tie to the item and then write on the tab at the end with a pen or pencil. 

The writable tab has a white colored area for writing descriptions or other information.
