Clear the tube — and prove it's clear
These compressible foam sponges are sized to slide through boiler, condenser, and heat-exchanger tubes. Loaded at one end and driven through with compressed air, they swab out loose scale and debris and let you "sound" each tube — if the sponge exits the far end, you've confirmed the tube is open and unobstructed. Fast, low-cost, and made from the same clean low-halogen foam as the rest of the line.
What they're for
- Cleaning — blow them through to wipe out loose debris, soot, and scale ahead of inspection or service.
- Sounding — confirm a tube is clear and fully open by passing a sponge end-to-end.
- Sized to the tube ID across 1"–4.25" for a snug, effective pass.
- Low-halogen, low-metals foam with lot-number traceability; nuclear & fossil compatible.
- Made in the U.S.A.
Where they're used
Boiler tubes, condenser and heat-exchanger tubes, and similar tube bundles during outages, cleaning, and inspection — wherever you need to clear and verify tubes quickly without harsh tools.

Use & care
- Select a sponge slightly larger than the tube ID so it seals and sweeps as it travels.
- Use regulated compressed air; keep hands and personnel clear of the tube exit — sponges exit with force.
- Account for every sponge in and out; don't leave one lodged in a tube.
- Don't reuse a sponge that's torn or heavily fouled.
